The idea of this week's theme is that you look around you and snap a photo of something that is Unique to your part of the world. Look at your world through the eyes of those of us in other lands.
Every part of the world is unique, whether you live in an isolated village in Africa or big city suburbia in America. What you think is common may well be very peculiar to someone on the other end of the globe - or even in the next town, so have fun with this!

This was a hard decision for me this week there was so much I wanted to show but seeing you can only show one picture, I decided on something that is "unique" here, it is the peat moss bogs that turn a brilliant red in the fall, I have never seen anything like it, it is so beautiful and it is dotted with hundreds of lakes some so tiny and some pretty big ones, this is where the Canada Geese and the ducks stop by on their way south for the winter, they seem to stop here for a rest, and I love hearing a flock of Canada geese honking as they fly overhead. I live in the Maritimes, Eastern Canada, New Brunswick on a small island. Miscou Island
