for everyone

The first photo I took this morning as the steam was coming off of the wet peat moss bogs , the fog was lifting at the same time and as the sun warmed up the soggy bogs which made it steam.

The second one I didn't take but it gives you an idea of some of the flooding we have to the north and south of us , it's pretty bad.

If it looks like this to the north and south of you, how does it look around your place? You make me worry about you.

No we are fine here , but a lot of homes on the island where I live are being flooded, but nothing really bad , most have pumps to pump them out , we have two pumps in our basement one is going non stop , every ten minutes it goes it is below the floor level and there is a backup one just in case , so the water never goes on the floor.

Keep a watch on those pumps. You don't want that headache especially if the men are going out for the day fishing. Glad to hear you are doing OK and keeping dry, as water is so destructive.

Well I hope that pump and its back-up keep working! Glad you are keeping dry and your head above the water Sharon! That picture of the steaming peat bog is beautiful! Funny the different extremes in temperatures we are experiencing in different parts of the world. My one friend is dealing with hail storms and tornadoes right now! Never a dull moment.... Stay safe Sharon!
